ICC makes a bigger move in the women cricket competition. ICC increased the prize money for the women T20 world cup 2020. The upcoming world cup take place in Australia where best women cricket teams will participate. After tennis and football women get rise in the salaries and prize money in cricket.

The team who wins the T20 world will received $1 million as prize money. Runner-ups finishing behind the winners will collect $500,000. The amount is 5 times bigger than the previous competition. Almost 320% increase in the prize money make it expensive cricket tournament for the women.

Cricket players from different domestic teams selected for the national side. PCB officially announced the players names selected for central contracts. Cricketers with regular performances retain contract in same category. Category A players earn (RS 11 lakh per month), category (B) holders make (RS 7.5 lakh) per month. Third and final category (C) players make (RS 5.5 lakh) per month.

Pakistan cricketers not only get paid monthly salaries but also earn per match fees. Per match fees of each player is mention above and it is same for each player. A report claimed that players who scored century or take five wicket haul in one match earn 25% more cricket fees.

On 13th May 2020, the central contract details released according to the new contracts many changes take place in category A,B,C. Sarfaraz Ahmed who recently removed from captain position also removed from category A contracts. Babar Azam the rising talent of Pakistan batting now earn captains badge and lead the team in upcoming T20, ODI and Test series matches. Sheen Shah Afridi surprising entry in category (A) awarded contracts in year 2020. He is the leading wicket taker alongside Mohammad Hasnian in PSL 2020.

Cricketers Bonus & Prize Money Share:
No prize money paid to the cricketers, according a official report on cricket forum. All prize money used for the development of cricket. Crunchy Sports, Tsmsportz, and The News Columns revealed that cricketers who scored century against arch rival India earn bonus money and bowlers who take five wickets or completes a hat-trick earn 50% of extra match fees.

ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Prize Money is currently said $7 million and winners will receive $3.5 million and runner-ups $1.5 million

ICC T20 World Cup held next year in Australia. This year more teams included in the tournament. Total 45 matches played among 16 teams. Papua New Guinea and Oman playing their first major tournament and qualified for the first time. ICC increased the T20 world cup prize money for the 2020 tournament.

The official announcement for the t20 world cup prize money made 2-3 months before the tournaments. But how much money paid to the teams who qualified for the tournament. Prize money increased as compared to previous season for both men’s and women tournament. In 2016, the winning team received prize money share $3.5 million. Possibility of increase in prize money of the tournament.

The Runner-ups earn $1.5 million which is equal to women’s competition winners share. According to Sportz Wiki if team India win’s the tournament each player will be rewarded 400% bonus. Another new’s report by Tsmplug claimed that winner prize money increased 12% each tournament. If Pakistan team will win the competition they will received the extra 100% bonus money for their performance (Crunchy Sports).

The winning team money will go to the cricket development players won’t received any prize money share. They only get man of the match award and cash bonus by the sponsor of the tournament. In last tournament in 2014, Sri Lanka received $1,1 million. In 2016, West Indies earn $2.5 million from the tournament.

ICC T20 Men’s World Cup 2020 host by Australia. Tournament start from 18th October and ended in November. There are 16 teams that will participate in the tournament and 45 matches played.
