Currently there is only increase in the women prize money for 2021 competition. In Men’s competition player with highest run and wicket will earn $100,000. Player who is selected for the man of the tournament earned $100,000.
The Runner-ups earn $1.5 million which is equal to women’s competition winners share. According to Sportz Wiki if team India win’s the tournament each player will be rewarded 400% bonus. Another new’s report by Tsmplug claimed that winner prize money increased 12% each tournament. If Pakistan team will win the competition they will received the extra 100% bonus money for their performance (Crunchy Sports).
The winning team money will go to the cricket development players won’t received any prize money share. They only get man of the match award and cash bonus by the sponsor of the tournament. In last tournament in 2014, Sri Lanka received $1,1 million. In 2016, West Indies earn $2.5 million from the tournament.
