This is first time when European PGA tour organizers, hosted a golf event in Cyprus. After this tournament, Cyprus Showdown second golf tournament take place. Italian Open, Cyprus Showdown and Cyprus Open 2020 prize money is same, the purse for the tournament increase next year if fans allowed to watch event live.
