UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships start from 1st February and ends on 2nd February. The two day event already become the first major cycling championship of 2020 year. This year the event held in Dübendorf, Switzerland. The male cyclist compete in three different categories and female cyclist compete in two categories. Last year it was announced that UCI cyclo-cross prize money equally distributed among the both men and women winners.

The prize money increased to (€71,000) for the year 2020-21 for men’s competition and it will be increased (€81,105) for the upcoming season 2021-22. In the above table you can see the prize money distribution for the cyclist who participate in the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships.

Participation allowances for the national teams in men’s junior and U23 competition increased to €7,000 – €13,000. The 60% prize money for the competition comes from the marketing and sponsorship rights. TV rights money also included but not information provided how much share divided for the prize money.
